Del Mar Throughbred Racing

Free tickets are wonderful, we scored some free tickets for the horse races in Del Mar from the owner of the Curve's that Erica goes to. Erica and I have never been to a horse race before. Other than it being a little hot out it was a fun experience. The kids were well behaved and enjoyed watching the horses go by, as well as the sights and smells of the BBQ. Erica and I even bet on a horse named Little Lizard but it didn't win or even place. The kids were so exhausted after we were done that they fell asleep with-in minutes of getting in the van. Birthday Star

A true Chucky-E-cheese birthday star would truly be excited to meet and see Chucky. But not our little star, Nicholas had his 3rd birthday party this weekend at you guessed it Chucky-E-Cheese. He absolutely did not want anything to do with Chucky he tried to crown him the birthday boy and Nick tried to hide under the table, and refused to blow out his candles. He didn't even eat any cake or pizza he did however have a chocolate ice cream cup. Other than the Chucky fiasco Nick had a great time playing games and earning tickets. We actually got him to sit still long enough to open presents. He was so excited getting a Ka-chow computer and a new tent with attached tunnel. He even earned enough tickets to get himself a lolly pop and a pink squishy lizard.

It's been awhile

Since we posted anything and alot has happened since the 7th. First and foremost is that we have found out that Erica is pregnant again. WooooHoooo, baby number three is on the way. We're hoping for a girl this time but we'll take what we get. She hasn't had her first appointment yet and won't for another 2 weeks. But we are still very excited and we'll keep everyone updated as it progresses. We have been busy the last few weekends between a Hawaiian Luau, tye-dying, and several days of chocolate face babies time seems to be flying. So here are a few pics to get started and I'll do a couple more posts soon.

A little outdoor friend

Nick was helping me water my plants outside this morning and something jumped out of the plant. It startled both of us but I wanted to know what it was. I looked closer and it was a baby lizard. It was so cute I had to get a picture of it!
