My Angel!

Mohawk

It speaks for itself!!

The San Diego County Fair

It kinda reminded me of Cheyenne Frontier Days! I miss home. But it was really fun and Nick enjoyed his new backpack! Daddy is now the "mule" who carries him around. He loves it. He, as in, both of them!!! We had an awesome time there, I even got to ride the amusement rides with some friends! Ben doesn't like carnival rides because of the frequency that they are taken down and moved around. He does like climbing trees though, as he demonstrated in the parking lot of the shuttle area, after we were done at the fair.

The Birch Aquarium and the BBQ on the Beach

We had a really great day yesterday. We went over to Jason & Shannda's for breakfast, then went to the Birch aquarium. It was pretty neat but not as good as Ocean's Journey in Denver or the Shed in Chicago. After that we went out to the beach to have a BBQ. It was really cool because you can drive right on to this beach. We pitched our umbrella and fired up the grill. While there, I found some really cool teeny tiny sea shells and there were some big fish jumping out of the bay! Also, strangely enough, the same day we went to the aquarium we saw these jelly fish in the bay right where we were BBQin' . Nick had a blast today, he didn't even take a nap. There was just too much fun for him to have!

Happy Baby!

I just love these smiles meant for me! (Mommy)

(Daddy) gets his big smiles when he walks in the door from work, but I usually get them all day long!!!! (Exceptions on some days) Aren't I such a lucky mommy?

Called "The Playboy Mansion of the South"

By our local news, The Ivy
Hotel in San Diego, is where Ben's dad leather wrapped the columns in this very different and luxurious hotel. We got to look around when we picked him up that evening. Here are some of the pictures that we took of the amazing stuff inside. I hear it is $600-$800 per night. http://www.ivyhotel.com

First Try!

Here is my 1st attempt to post some of my favorite hobby, scrapbooking. I'm no expert but

do think some of my pages are pretty good. And I enjoy doing it so that's what matters! I'll post new stuff every so often, so please leave some thoughts or comments so I know if it is even worth while doing this on my post. Thanks and hope you enjoy! These are some of my 8X8 inch pages.

Spaghetti Face

These photos speak for themselves, Nick loves spaghetti!

Nice bike ride

On Wed, Ben got off work early and we went for a long 5 mile bike ride. It was so nice to just get out and get some fresh air! When we got done and got back home, we all got into the pool and then had some hamburgers on the grill. It was a great day, I wish more days were like this one!

Memorial Day weekend

On friday we were going to go to the beach, but instead we went to the park, down the road from our home. We had fun even though it wasn't the beach. We flew the kite I got for Ben's birthday. I was kinda lazy... hehe and flew it laying down and relaxing! Nick had a great time playing with the kite and some of his beach toys that we brought along.
