Fall Festival

Friday was the Fall Festival at Nick's Head Start program. What a Festival, there was goodies bags, pumpkins, face painting and the most popular attraction of all. My wife the balloon making Scarecrow. She actually made the costume herself and did all the face painting. Head Start was going to hire someone to make balloon animals for the kids, but they wanted over a hundred dollars an hour. So Erica volunteered she bought a five dollar kit at Wally World and got directions off the Internet, two hours later voila she's an expert. So while Erica was having a good time, the boys well really just Nick was having a tough time. We think there was just to much going on around him and he got overwhelmed. Connor and the baby however had a blast. The baby slept, and Connor got to eat pumpkin pie. Enjoy the pics.

Hocus Pocus Party

Party did someone say party, well it's not the adult type it was the kid type but at a very adult venue. A historical landmark called the Abby. This place is full of stuff that does not seem kid friendly, stairs, stained glass windows, and railing that seem too far apart.

However, it works very well for a Hocus Pocus party, the atmosphere was was a little dark and dreary, but the music was bumping and the kids were having a blast playing with the mad scientists creations of bubbles and dry ice smoke.

They were having so much fun doing that that they didn't even want to be in the costume contest. Erica did take Tommy down and have him enter to win but everyone thought it was to early for Santa Clause. Oh well we had a great time enjoy the pics!

Pumpkin Patch 2010

We headed down to the pumpkin patch on Sunday. You would think the main focus of the trip was to get pumpkins but It wasn't. We actually bopught the pumpkins at Wal-Mart before we went (Wally World=$4, Pumpkin Patch=$12) they are a third of the price. So the main point of the trip was to let the kids play. Play they did for over an hour they ran from here to there, throwing straw at each other rolling huge pumpkins around, feeding goats, playing on hay bail pyrmaids and talking with scare crows. Tommy even had a great time watching his brothers play, eating hay, and rolling aroung in a pile of baby pumpkins. We all had a great time and I got some good pictures of the family enjoy.

Mustang Update!

For everyone who knows me out there, you'll know that the mustang has been out of commission for the last year and a half. It started with a blown head gasket that ended up being a total rebuild and upgrade to the engine. There has been one thing holding me back for the last 5 months, an exhaust system. We could never find the money and if we did have the money it was better spent somewhere else. Saturday I took the car with open headers (very loud) to Bob's Discount Muffler and Brake Repair. Those three guys working on my car thought I was nuts for taking all the pictures, but I didn't care how often do you get to see the underside of your car. Anyways enjoy the pics.

Into the Wild Blue Yonder!

Well for all you Air Force fans out there here you go. We went to the Airshow at Miramar again this year. It was a nice cloudy cool day when we got there, but as the day went on it got hotter and hotter, we had to keep the kids under aircraft wings to keep cool. The baby slept most of the time and the other boys aside from being hot complained about EVERYTHING, my feet hurt, I'm thirsty, I wanna play games, It's too loud and the list goes on and on. Kids are a blast! Oh well, Erica and I had a good time and the walking completely wore the kids out. They slept like logs for the rest of the night. Enjoy the pics.
