Drag Racing

You have heard me say it before and I will probably say it many times over the next few years. Thanks Lincoln Military Housing for getting us out of the damn house. This was their fourth drag race event and our third time going they provide all the necessities food, drink, family photos and of course the cars. Which Connor went nuts over. Enjoy.

That list

(bucket list) keeps getting smaller, this time in part due to the NAVY. I was sent for three days up to what is commonly referred to as HELL. However according to the map it's called 29 palms. So what do you do in a desert at 100 plus degree temperature? You go hiking in the middle of the day. You bring lots of water and a camera just in case you wanna capture the surface of the sun burning your skin off. 100 degrees and 3000 feet the hi-desert sucks so the only natural escape is an oasis (49 palms). Enjoy.

Rafting the California Salmon

Well my bucket list is pretty long (not sure if I'll ever land on the moon but whatever it's still there) and extensive but thanks to a friend at work it has gotten considerable shorter. I helped drive 14 hours to the north of San Diego almost to Oregon to go rafting down a class 5 rapids on the California Salmon river. It was only due to my wife that I was able to go she stayed behind and watched the boys for the weekend. Can not wait until they are all able to go.
